Enable Real Time Account Updater on the Adyen payment gateway integration

Learn how to enable the Real-Time Account Updater feature on the Adyen payment gateway integration with Zuora.

An Adyen payment gateway instance is configured in Zuora.
An RSA key for Adyen RTAU is created, downloaded, and associated with the gateway

If Real-Time Account Updater is only enabled in Adyen, Zuora will not acknowledge the update in the payment response.

Contact the Adyen Support Team to enable Real-Time Account Updater for your merchant account.
Include the following information and file in your request:
- You want to enable Real-Time Account Updater.
- You want to receive the encrypted_card_number field in the payment response.
- The public key file created. For more detailed information on how to create, see Create RSA keys for Adyen Real-Time Account Updater.
In Zuora, set up or configure an Adyen payment gateway instance.
Contact Zuora Global Support to enable Real Time Account Updater for your tenant in Zuora.
To test the Real Time Account Updater setup, use the test card numbers provided in Adyen documentation.
