Real Time Account Updater for Adyen

Enable Real Time Account Updater on the Adyen payment gateway integration

Learn how to enable the Real-Time Account Updater feature on the Adyen payment gateway integration with Zuora.

Before you begin, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • An Adyen payment gateway instance is configured in Zuora.
  • An RSA key for Adyen Real Time Account Updater is created, downloaded, and associated with the gateway.

You must enable Real Time Account Updater in both Adyen and Zuora. If you enable it only in Adyen, Zuora does not acknowledge the update in the payment response.

  1. Contact Adyen Support to enable Real Time Account Updater for your merchant account.

    In your request, include the following information and attachment:

  2. In Zuora, set up or configure an Adyen payment gateway instance.
  3. Contact Zuora Global Support to enable Real Time Account Updater for your tenant in Zuora.
  4. Test the Real Time Account Updater setup by using the test card numbers provided by Adyen.
