Enable Real Time Account Updater on the Checkout.com payment gateway integration
Zuora's integration with Checkout.com's Real-Time Account Updater ensures that credit card information is automatically updated during transactions, enhancing payment accuracy and efficiency.
Zuora supports integration with Checkout.com Real-Time Account Updater for credit card transactions processed through the Checkout.com payment gateway integration. When Real-Time Account Updater is enabled in both Checkout.com and Zuora, Zuora receives the latest card information in the payment response from Checkout.com whenever a credit card is updated, and Zuora updates the card information accordingly. If Real-Time Account Updater is enabled only in Checkout.com, Zuora does not acknowledge the update in the payment response.
The following card update scenarios are supported:
The card number changes.
The card expiration date changes.
The card is closed by the issuer and is no longer valid. The invalid card appears in the payment method list with the status Closed.
The card is updated, but the updated details are not available in the Account Updater service. In this case, contact the cardholder to obtain the updated card information.
