Recover from a failed gateway reconciliation job
View a batch gateway reconciliation job and retrieve the information you need.
If the initial attempt to retrieve a gateway reconciliation report fails, the job Status displays Error. Jobs can fail for several reasons. The following list describes common errors:
-
Zuora cannot connect to the gateway to retrieve the source information. For example, the credentials might be incorrect.
-
Zuora connects to the gateway but cannot find the source settlement report. This issue can occur when the automatically generated source file name is incorrect.
-
Zuora connects to the gateway and retrieves the file, but cannot parse it. This issue can occur when the source file is created manually for testing instead of by a well-defined automated process.
Zuora uses a retry mechanism to fetch the gateway reconciliation file from the gateway server. If the file is not available on the gateway server when Zuora retries, Zuora displays the Source Not Present message. This message indicates that the file is not yet uploaded to the gateway server, which is expected behavior because gateways upload files at varying times. After the file becomes available, Zuora fetches and processes it. Processing can take time, so the Source Not Present message can still appear temporarily in Zuora even after the file is available on the gateway server.
