Learn how to use Data Loader for data migration tasks such as importing, deleting, updating, and canceling transactions.

1. Click + New
2. The following modal appears on the screen. Provide information on all fields marked with an asterisk.

   

   • Step 1 in the stepper at top of the window helps you view the progress of the job workflow.

3. In the Select Object drop-down menu, a list of all the objects supported by the data loader is displayed from the picklist. The objects are displayed alphabetically.
4. You can download a sample of the job template. These templates are specific to the object and action. Using templates helps standardize the process of data migration. You can navigate to the Data Dictionary for objects for data accuracy before populating the CSV template with data.
5. The Source File Header Fields preview section below the stepper helps you verify that you have uploaded the right file. The header of the feature is also captured in this space.
6. Upload the prepared CSV file for data ingestion.
