Manage User Accounts

Learn how to manage existing user accounts by resetting passwords, deactivating users, and updating user details and roles.

After you create user accounts, you can manage them as you would in any standard user management module.

You can also assign roles to control what each user can do. For example, some users require higher privileges to update subscriptions or perform other administrative actions, while other users need only view access to consume data without making changes.

  1. In the left navigation pane, navigate to Customers > User Accounts.
  2. Select the user that you want to manage.
  3. (Optional) To reset the user's password, click Reset password at the top of the page.
  4. (Optional) To deactivate the user, click Deactivate user.
  5. To edit the user details, click Edit, and then update any of the following fields:
    • First name

    • Last name

    • Phone number

    • Roles: Assign a standard role, such as Admin or Standard User, or assign a custom role for use in Experience Builder. You can also mark a custom role as the default role for new users created through account sync. For more detailed information on how to create roles, see Create Custom Role for Experience Builder

  6. Click Save changes.
