Functionality Specific Default Mappings
Functionality-Specific Default Mappings are predefined field mappings provided by Zuora for Integration Hub, allowing selection from multiple templates to suit various business scenarios.
Functionality‑Specific Default Mappings, also referred to as Collections, are predefined sets of field mappings that Zuora provides for specific connector capabilities in Integration Hub. Instead of starting from a single global default mapping, you can choose from multiple mapping templates that reflect common business scenarios. For example, when syncing Salesforce CPQ Orders to Zuora Orders and Subscriptions, you can select the default mapping template that best matches how you want to model subscriptions and order actions in Zuora.
Functionality‑Specific Default Mappings offers you the following benefits:
Accelerate connector setup by starting from Zuora‑defined mapping templates that are aligned with common integration patterns.
Reduce configuration errors by using pre‑vetted mappings that already account for typical data model differences between systems.
Support multiple business models by allowing different default mapping sets for different subscription or order scenarios, instead of forcing a single mapping for all use cases.
Note: Functionality‑Specific Default Mappings are defined by Zuora per connector and per capability. Currently you cannot create or manage your own mapping templates.
