Install Zuora MCP server in Claude desktop or web

Configure the Zuora MCP server as a custom connector in Claude Desktop and connect it to your Zuora tenant using OAuth 2.0.

Ensure that you have created an OAuth 2.0 client and obtained the Client ID and Client Secret.

  1. On macOS, navigate to Claude Desktop > Settings.
  2. Select the Connectors tab in the settings.
  3. At the bottom of the page, click Add Custom Connector to add a custom MCP connector.
  4. Enter a name for the MCP connector.
  5. Enter the MCP URL for your environment.
  6. In the Advanced Settings tab, enter your OAuth credentials:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
  7. Click Add.

    Claude Desktop redirects you to the Claude web login.

  8. After completing login, you are redirected to the Zuora OneID consent page. Select the tenant and complete the authorization flow.
    1. Verify the MCP connection - After authorization, you are redirected back to Claude Desktop. Verify that the MCP connector is added successfully and ready to use.

    2. (Optional) Configure MCP permissions- Select the MCP connector and click Configure to adjust permission levels for individual tools.

The Zuora MCP server is configured in Claude Desktop and connected to your Zuora tenant.
