Status reporting

Use the Rip and Replace Status Report to monitor lifecycle status, linked transactions, and rollover amounts.

The Rip and Replace Status Report provides business users with complete visibility into the Rip and Replace lifecycle of revenue contract lines. It enables users to identify which lines have been ripped, track their corresponding replacement lines, and monitor the current processing status throughout the lifecycle.

The report also provides transparency into the rollover amount associated with each Rip and Replace transaction, allowing users to validate the financial impact of the replacement process.

Status definitions

Pending

The Pending status indicates that a transaction has been identified as ripped, but the corresponding replacement line has not yet been received or processed.

Meaning:

  • The original line has been marked for replacement.
  • No replacement transaction has been linked yet.
  • Revenue processing for the ripped line remains pending until the replacement line is available.

Done

The Done status indicates that the ripped transaction has been successfully replaced by the corresponding replacement line.

Meaning

  • The original ripped line has been linked to its replacement line.
  • The Rip and Replace lifecycle is complete.
  • The replacement transaction continues subsequent revenue processing.
