Learn how to create a subregion for a country or region for your business.

1. Navigate to Settings > Administration > Manage Countries, Regions and States .
2. Navigate to Customers > Customer Accounts
3. Locate the country or region that you want to create the subregion for and then click the name. The country detail page opens.
4. Click + Add Subregion .
5. In the Add Subregion dialog, enter the following information:

   • Code: the code of the subregion, up to three characters.

   • Name: the English name of the subregion.

6. Optional: Specify names in other languages.
   1. Click + Add Other Languages .
   2. Select a language. Available languages are as follows:

      • French

      • Spanish

      • Japanese

      • German

   3. Enter the name in the selected language.
   4. Repeat steps a to c to add other languages as needed.
7. Switch the Status toggle to indicate whether the subregion is active or not.
8. Click Save .
