What type of training is included with a subscription to Zuora University?

A subscription to Zuora University includes access to self-paced online coursework from foundational to advanced levels, a personal training sandbox at the advanced 301 levels, and dedicated certification tracks for those who interface with Zuora products regularly. Zuora University subscribers are also entitled to free attendance to instructor-led virtual live classes (VLCs) and free certification exam attempts.

Our robust course library features 200+ unique online courses covering a variety of topics for beginners, seasoned Zuora product users, and everyone in between. Our wide selection of courses allows each user the flexibility to determine how, when, and what they learn. Users may choose to learn from self-paced courses with interactive content and hands-on use cases or various scheduled remote sessions hosted by live Zuora Training instructors.

Can I earn a certification under this program?

Yes! We have several certification options available to Zuora University subscribers. With access to dedicated learning paths, a personal sandbox for completing practice exercises at the advanced 301 levels, and included badge and certification exams, a Zuora University subscriber may achieve any of the following badges and certifications:

How do I sign up to be a Zuora University subscriber?

Our flagship subscription training program is available to current users of Zuora products. Subscribers gain unlimited access to our comprehensive course library, which covers all topics related to Zuora products. Email us at training@zuora.com to enquire about access and payment options.

Once I've joined, how do I get access?

After the order form has been executed, you or your Zuora Sales representative may email training@zuora.com and include your first name, last name and business email address to request access.

Once we've granted your request for access, you will receive an email with a link to complete your registration. Let us know if you are missing this email or need it to be resent. We can also manually reset your password in the event that you become locked out of your account.

Can I access training from inside the Zuora Billing platform?

No. The Zuora University platform is hosted separately from Zuora products, and your login credentials are separate. You'll need to access your training materials directly at university.zuora.com.

Can I share a training account with my coworker?

No. Access to the Zuora University platform is priced per seat, and our user terms and agreement explain that only one person at a time may utilize a single seat. For this reason, we don't allow departmental email addresses to be used when creating a new student account.

However, you can complete your training, then pass your seat along for someone else to use. You can find details about that process in the next question below.

What if my colleague no longer needs training access or has left the company?

Send an email to training@zuora.com to inform us. We can deactivate that user's account to make space for a new student. If you'd like to enroll you or someone else, send us a first name, last name, and professional email address. Please note, that not all seats can be "swapped" or "reassigned". If additional seat is needed for the new user we may need to verify that your organization has the right number of seat entitlements.

I need to learn about a specific topic, but I can't find it in the Zuora University catalog.

Email training@zuora.com to tell us about your needs. Often we can find what you're looking for in our existing course library.

How do I sign up for a virtual class, live-taught by an instructor?

If you have a subscription, once you have logged in to Zuora University, select Virtual Live Classes from the available options on the home page. Once you find a class that interests you, click on it and select Register Now.

You can attend all virtual classes for free if you are a Zuora University subscriber. If you have trouble registering for a specific VLC, email training@zuora.com so that we can register you for your chosen session.

I've finished my coursework. How can I take the assessment?

Depending on the course, the course will have the assessment available at the end of the course, or you will be prompted to register for an exam at our proctored exam provider WebAssessor. 101 and 201 level courses will have the assessment via Zuora University site, 301 level exams need to be booked with WebAssessor. If you are unable to register for a particular assessment, email us at training@zuora.com.

Can I earn certification by paying an exam fee (without signing up for a Zuora University subscription)?

No. You can only earn Badges this way, to complete our certifications, currently you need to have full subsription to Zuora Univeristy. Non-subscribers may pay purchase 101 level exams once they have completed the free 101 level courses. You can find the payment options for exams: here.

As a customer, how can I become certified as an implementer of Zuora products?

If you're a customer, you'll need to join Zuora University's subscription program. As a paying subscriber, you'll complete related coursework and work through practice exercises before attempting your chosen badge or certification exam.
