Zuora Revenue file retention policy
This topic describes the file retention policy for file types used in Zuora Revenue. This policy applies only to file storage and does not apply to revenue data stored in the system or database.
File types
Zuora Revenue uses the following file types:

Report output files: Files generated from the application and available for viewing or download within the user interface.

Flat file integration (SFTP) inbound files: ZIP or CSV files, including checksum and count files, uploaded by customers to Zuora Revenue SFTP endpoints.

Flat file integration (SFTP) outbound files: ZIP or CSV files, including checksum and count files, generated by Zuora Revenue and made available to customers on SFTP endpoints.

Flat file integration archive and error files:

Successfully processed inbound files stored in the archive.

Files that encounter errors during processing, stored in the error directory together with log files.

REST API integration files: inbound.

Manual BI extract files: BI report outputs manually generated and provided to customers.

Final data extract files: Files generated for customers at the end of their contract term.
Retention policy
The below table shows the retention duration for each Zuora Revenue file type in production and test environments.
