Configure site domains

Learn how to configure site domains in Zephr to manage domain overrides and set preferred environments for seamless site access and testing.

Site domains allow you to use Zephr from various domains while connecting to the same origin. You can specify domain overrides to expose URLs, allowing end-users to reach your site through the Zephr CDN.

To configure site domains, select the Site Domains button in the Add a Site screen. The Domains screen is displayed.

Zephr automatically generates the following subdomains by default, in addition to those established on the Environment screen:

  • yourorganisation-sitename-environmentname.non-prod.cdn.zephr.com.
  • {yoursite}.{yourorganisation}.preview.zephr.com.

You can test your site using either one of the subdomains mentioned above. Once your site is live, use the {yoursite}. {yourorganisation}.preview.zephr.com subdomain to stage and test your rules before publishing them.

On this screen, you can perform the following actions:

  • Configure a domain From this screen, you can configure the following:
    • Site domains
    • Preferred environments
  • Track the progress of the domain set-up.

After configuring your site domains, click the Done button to return to the Add a Site screen.
