Edit a Commitment using the Zuora UI
Learn how to edit commitments in the Zuora UI and understand which fields you can change based on the commitment state.
- Navigate to Customers > Commitments. The Commitments page opens.
- Click a commitment number in the Commitment Number column.
- Click Create Order. The Review order page opens.
- Click the edit icon in the Actions column of the commitments record.
Commitments are progressively locked as they are processed. The system uses four states to determine the details to be updated:

- Click Activate. The commitments is activated. The eligible accounts and charges configuration cannot be changed after a commitment is activated. If the contributing scope needs to change fundamentally, cancel the commitment and create a new one.
