Activate pending charge on amendment quote
Learn how to activate a pending charge by setting a trigger date on an amendment quote.
Activation is supported only on amendment quotes. On new subscription quotes, the Trigger Date field is read-only for pending charges.
- Open the amendment quote in Quote Studio.
- Locate the charge with the PENDING badge.
- Enter a value in the Trigger Date field.
- Submit the quote.
After you enter a trigger date, the PENDING badge is removed from the charge row.
The charge is then treated like an active charge, and full metrics are calculated and displayed.
Zuora CPQ sends an UpdateProduct order action with specificTriggerDate set.
For an activated charge, estimated Start Date is not included.
