In addition to the quick icon flow, you can configure suspend and resume details within Quote Studio when working on New, Amend, or Renew quotes. The exact behavior depends on the feature access rule.

Use this flow when combining suspend or resume with other order actions such as:

• Adding or removing products

• Updating pricing or terms

• Performing amend or renewal-related changes

Permissions and Visibility

• If a user has Suspend permission (per Feature Access Config) for a quote type:

  • They see a Suspend section on the Quote Studio for that quote type.

• If a user also has both Suspend and Resume permission:

  • They see an auto-resume toggle and Resume section in Quote Studio.

• If a user has only Resume permission:

  • For suspended subscriptions:

    • Use the quick Resume icon flow from the Billing Account and Subscription Selector when the subscription is already Suspended.

    • While the subscription is suspended, Amend/Renew icons are hidden, so you cannot open Quote Studio to combine resume with other actions in a single quote.

    • In this case, the user must:

      • Use the quick Resume flow to move the subscription back to Active.

      • Then use Amend or Renew (and the corresponding Quote Studio flow) to make any additional changes.

  • For active subscriptions:

    • The Resume action is not applicable, because the subscription is already Active.

    • The user can still perform other allowed order actions based on their configured permissions
