Card Account Updater (CAU) replaces Zuora's existing Payment Method Updater (PMU). Once you enable Modernized Zuora Payments, any payment methods tokenized through Modernized Zuora Payments are updated exclusively via CAU. These methods cannot be processed by existing PMU workflows, making your previous gateway-level PMU service and its associated costs redundant.
