What you can do with Sales Rep Agent

Sales Rep Agent helps sales representatives understand customer and billing context without manually searching across multiple records. Depending on the configured experience, you can use the agent in Quote Studio or from a Salesforce Account record page.

  • Review account and billing information - Use natural-language questions to:

    • Review billing account summaries, key metrics, payment terms, and other account details.

    • Check active subscriptions, including subscription versions and statuses.

    • Identify products that are available in a specific subscription.

    • Review payment history, invoice details, and invoice status.

    • Find related billing accounts that belong to the same CRM account

  • Create and update quotes - From a Salesforce Account record page, use natural-language requests to:

    • Create a new non-ramp quote with specified products and quote information.

    • Update an existing quote by adding, updating, or removing products.

    • Perform multiple product operations in a single request.

    • Identify product names and quote intent from a natural-language request.

    • Answer clarification questions when required information is missing.

    • Review a confirmation summary before the requested changes are applied.

    • Review the quote details returned after the action is complete.

For more information, see Sales Rep Agent for quote creation.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that the following requirements are met:

  • Zuora Support has enabled the required organization-level and tenant-level configuration for your environment.

  • The Billing tenant is onboarded to OneID. If it is not already on OneID, work with Zuora to migrate it before requesting the CPQ tenant.

  • The CPQ tenant is in the same environment as the Billing tenant.

  • Zuora Quotes managed package version is 10.59 or later is installed.

After Zuora completes the required internal setup, a customer admin must complete the following tasks in the following order:

  1. Create OAuth client credentials in Salesforce by using an external client app.

  2. Configure the Salesforce credentials in the CPQ tenant.

  3. Create an OAuth 2.0 client in Zuora OneID for the CPQ tenant.

  4. Configure the Zuora OAuth OneID credentials in the Named Credential in Salesforce.

After the admin setup is complete, each Salesforce user must complete a one-time authentication flow in Quote Studio before the Sales Rep Agent is available. See Authenticate Quote Studio and grant required permissions.

If authentication is not complete, the Sales Rep Agent panel in Quote Studio shows an Authenticate Now option.

For additional information about OneID authentication, see Manage OneID users, roles, and groups.
