Download default quote template
This article describes how to download a default quote template.
You would use this template as a basis to create a new quote template.
- Log in to the Zuora application.
- Click the down arrow next to your user name.
- Select to Settings > Commerce .
- Click Configure Salesforce.com Quote Templates .
- On the Manage Quote Templates page, click the link, Click here , to download the default templates. You can also download the default template file by clicking the following file link: SampleQuote.doc
- The template file contains three sample templates: New Subscription, Amend Subscription, and Renew Subscription. Modify the template in Microsoft Word to configure the layout and the specific fields that you require in the quote documents. Zuora recommends that you create separate templates for New Subscription Quotes, Amendment Quotes, and Renewal Quotes to reflect the difference in calculations and information that is typically presented in each type of quotes.
- Open the template file in Microsoft Word to customize it.
