Payments Insights overview
Payments Insights provides charts and metrics that show how your payment flows perform across providers, payment methods, countries, and transaction types. Use Insights to monitor trends, compare performance, and improve your payment operations.
Insights presents historical and segmented payment data in a single view. Use Insights to assess the following:
- Payment volume processed.
- Payment methods and providers with the highest approval or conversion rates.
- Locations of declines, retries, and validation failures.
- Changes in refunds and chargebacks over time.
- Fraud screening and 3D Secure patterns that require investigation.

How Insights organizes your data
Insights shows payment data from two complementary perspectives:
- Volume
- The overall flow and value of your transactions, including payment volume, refunds, chargebacks, payment methods, providers, and countries.
- Performance
- The effectiveness of your payment processes, including approval rates, conversion trends, retries, validation results, and fraud-related outcomes.
Together, these perspectives show both the scale of your payment activity and the effectiveness of the payment flows that process it.
Insights views
Insights includes the following views:
- Conversion rate
- Performance metrics such as approval rates, retry attempts, and validation success.
- Overview
- A high-level summary of payment processing, including total payment volume, average ticket size, and conversion rate trends.
- Volume
- Payment volume, refunds, and chargebacks by provider, payment method, and country.
- Fraud
- Fraud screening, 3D Secure authentication, and chargeback metrics.
- Health
- Real-time and daily operational metrics for payment providers and orchestration, including approval rates, error rates, latency percentiles, and timeout rates.
In each view, you can filter the data that Insights shows, choose which charts appear, and customize the chart order.
