You have different testing environments available for you to test the Zuora application, APIs, and supported integrations.

Zuora testing environments provide private tenant access to the Zuora application, APIs, and supported integrations and payments gateways. The following information applies to Zuora Billing, Zuora Payments, Zuora CPQ, and Zuora Central Platform testing environments.

• API Sandbox is intended for integration testing and release preview testing and does not come with any data. Sandbox environments receive application releases before the production environment. For more information about Zuora release timing and deployment phases, see Zuora releases explained.

• Developer Sandbox allows developers to work on a sandbox with the same configuration as production. This sandbox environment allows only copy and refresh of configuration and settings data but not transactional or dynamic data.

• Central Sandbox provides additional capabilities on top of Developer Sandbox. Zuora Central Sandbox copies production data securely and supports production-like performance. Zuora Central Sandbox can be used for integration testing, end-to-end production testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing with certain guidelines.
