Understand global navigation
The global navigation provides a more consistent way to move across Zuora applications and key product areas.
The global navigation helps reduce friction when you work across Billing, Revenue, and multiple tenants. It separates global controls from application-specific navigation so that it is easier to understand where to go for different types of actions.
Primary navigation
The primary navigation appears on the left side of the screen and gives access to global areas such as:
Zuora Home
Application switching
Help resources
Application settings
User settings
Interface themes
Other global controls
Use the primary navigation when you want to move between major Zuora areas or access account-level options.
Secondary navigation
The secondary navigation appears next to the primary navigation and provides context for the current application or tenant.
Depending on your access and tenant configuration, it can include:
Current application designation
Tenant badge and switcher
Global search
Pinned pages
Suggested pages
Product-specific navigation groups
Focus mode control
Use the secondary navigation when you want to work within the current application or tenant.
Personalization features in navigation
The global navigation includes features that help you work more efficiently from day to day.
- Suggested pages help surface recently used or frequently used pages.
- Pinned pages let you create a personalized set of shortcuts for the pages you use most often.
- Focus mode collapses the secondary navigation to give you more space for your current work. To use focus mode, select the focus mode control
in the secondary navigation. This is useful when you want to reduce distractions or make more room for detailed pages such as reports and large tables. You can exit focus mode to restore the full navigation by clicking on any button within the primary navigation.
- Themes let you choose the interface appearance that works best for your preferences or working environment. To change a theme, select the new theme from under user settings from the primary navigation.
