About the outcomes node
The Outcomes node allows you to defines what content or UI to display when a rule's path is matched.
The Outcomes node lets you specify the result of matching a path in feature rules. For example, you can use it to show content directly or to present different experiences such as registration forms, payment forms, or custom content blocks.
The decision nodes that are available under the Outcomes segment title are as follows:
- Show
- Add Outcome
Show
This outcome varies based on the name of your feature; for example, for a feature named Article, this displays as Show Article.
Use this outcome to allow full access to the content being served by the CMS with no changes.
Add Outcome
Use this to create a unique outcome for the content; for example, to build a registration form, payment form, or custom code block.
For further information on building outcomes, see the Feature Outcomes topic.
