Configure the Experience Builder host domain
Learn how to configure the Experience Builder host domain and billing environment for your site.
- Navigate to Delivery > Sites.
- Select the site where you want to display the Experience Builder component.
- Go to Browser Configuration.
- In Experience Builder host domain, enter the subdomain (components.mywebsite.com) configured for the hosted Experience Builder project in Zuora Billing.
- Set the CDN cookie domain to the corresponding parent domain (.mywebsite.com).
- Go to Extension Studio > Domains and Hosting.
- Select Custom Domains.
- Verify that the domain you entered in Zephr is also listed as a custom domain in Billing.Note:
The Experience Builder host domain is typically a subdomain of your organization's domain where the Experience Builder components are hosted. Using the same domain (or subdomain) allows browser cookies to be shared correctly between Zephr and Billing. As browsers restrict cookies from being sent across unrelated domains, most customers configure a custom domain (bring your own domain) for Experience Builder to ensure authentication and embedded components work seamlessly.
You can configure a domain in Billing by either:
-
Adding a customer-owned domain through Bring your own domain. This is the recommended option for production use.
Creating a convenience domain for testing or other non-production use.
-
