Submission status monitoring
You can monitor E-Compliance Request records to track submission status, reconcile provider updates, regenerate failed submissions, and download certified compliance documents and payload snapshots.
Each submission creates an E-Compliance Request record that you can use to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues.
Key request details include the request ID, submission status, source document identifiers, reporting scheme, trigger source, template used, provider transaction ID, and any error information returned when a submission fails.
Request status values
PENDINGwhen the request has been created and queued.PROCESSINGwhen submission is in progress.SUCCESSwhen the provider accepts the document.FAILEDwhen the submission is rejected or encounters an error.RECONCILINGwhen Zuora is checking the latest provider status.
Reconciliation and regeneration
Use reconciliation to sync the latest provider status for an in-flight or stalled submission.
Use regeneration to create a new submission for an existing request after you correct the underlying issue.
Compliance output and snapshots
After a request reaches a successful state, you can download the certified compliance document returned by the provider.
You can also download the payload snapshot that was sent to the provider for audit and troubleshooting purposes.
Supported document types
E-Reporting supports invoices, credit memos, debit memos, payments, and refunds.
For invoices, credit memos, and debit memos, the submission is tied to the billing document. For payments and refunds, the submission is tied to the corresponding application records.
