Resume subscription using Resume Selected button in MSQ

Resume a suspended subscription from the Billing Account and Subscription selector using the Resume Selected button, configure key dates, optionally extend the term by suspended days, and complete the resume action.

Use this flow to resume a subscription in Multi Subscription Quoting (MSQ) without combining it with other order actions. When you resume multiple subscriptions, the resume configuration section is displayed in a tabular format, allowing you to configure resume details for multiple subscriptions in a single workflow. This feature is available from Quotes version 10.59.

  1. From the Billing Account and Subscription selector, select the subscriptions to resume.
  2. Click the Resume Selected button.
  3. Configure the order action dates, consistent with Quote Studio and Billing:
    • Contract Effective Date

    • Service Activation Date

    • Customer Acceptance Date

All default to today, and changing the Contract Effective Date typically updates the others to match, according to your existing Quote Studio behavior.

  4. Configure the resume policy:
    • Today - The subscription is resumed on today's date.

    • Suspend Date - The subscription is resumed on the same day it is suspended.

    • Fixed Periods from Today - Enter Resume Period (number) and Resume Period Type (Day, Week, Month, Year). For example, 3 weeks from today – the subscription will enter Resumed status three weeks after today's date, not "resume for 3 weeks".

    • Fixed Periods from Suspended Date - Enter Resume Period (number) and Resume Period Type (Day, Week, Month, Year). For example, 3 weeks from suspend date – the subscription will enter Resumed status three weeks after suspend date, not "resume for 3 weeks".

    • Resume Specific date - The subscription is resumed on a specific date.

  5. (Optional) Enable Extend Term by Suspended Days.
    • If enabled:

      • The subscription Term End Date is extended by the number of suspended days.

      • Example:

        • Original term end date: 24 March 2027

        • Net suspended days: 7 days

        • New term end date: 31 March 2027

    • If disabled:

      • The Term End Date remains unchanged. For example, the Term End Date stays at 24 March 2027, even though the subscription was suspended.

  6. Click Resume.
    Note:
    • If the operation succeeds:

      • The modal closes.

      • A success toast message appears for 10 seconds, summarizing:

        • The subscription number

        • The action (resumed)

        • The resume policy you selected.

    • The page does not auto-refresh. You must manually refresh the page to see the updated subscription status and icons.
