Add different states to the user state map canvas by dragging nodes and entering details in the dialog box.

For this example, let's add three states, Engaged, VIP, and Lapsed, to the user state map canvas:

• Engaged - End users who view five or more pages of content each day.

  1. Drag the New State node to the canvas (same side as the Registered state).

  2. In the Add a New State dialog box, enter Engaged in the Title field and View 5 or more pages a day in the Description field.

  3. Click Add.

• VIP - End users who view ten or more pages of content each day and have a Gold subscription.

  1. Drag the New State node to the canvas.

  2. In the Add a New State dialog box, enter VIP in the Title field and View 10 or more pages a day and have a Gold subscription in the Description field.

  3. Click Add.

• Lapsed - These end users as those who have not viewed any content in the last week. To do this, complete the following steps:

  1. Drag the New State node to the canvas.

  2. In the Add a New State dialog box, enter Lapsed in the Title text box. Also, enter No views in last weekin the Description text box.

  3. Click Add.
