Learn how to configure required fields to control the details that customers provide when they pay by the selected payment method in Checkout.

1. In the left navigation pane, navigate to Zuora Payments > Checkout.
2. In the Payment method settings section, locate the payment method that you want to configure.
3. Click the More Actions menu next to the payment method, and then select Set required fields.
4. Configure the required fields of a payment method:

   • The Required fields column displays the name of each available field. Use the On/Off toggle to enable or disable a field. You can also click the Configuration icon next to the toggle to set conditions when a specific field is required.

   • If you enable the Document field, you have to configure the allowed document types. Click document types to open the General settings page and configure allowed document types.

   • If you enable the Address configuration setting, configure the address mode you want to use:

     • Select Billing Address only if you allow your customers to only specify the billing address.

     • Select Billing & Shipping Address if you want to give an option to your customers to specify different billing and shipping addresses.

5. Click Save changes to save the configuration.
6. Click Publish settings to apply the changes to the live checkout page.
