Test checkout configuration

Learn how to use the live preview panel in Checkout Builder to review and test checkout configuration before you publish them.

Note:

This feature is available only with the Modernized Zuora Payments add-on SKU.

To access the Early Adopter program, contact your Zuora account representative.

The Checkout Builder includes a live preview panel on the right side of the screen. You can leverage the preview panel to test and review updates before you publish your configuration.

Assume that you have set the following conditions for the ACH payment method to show up:

Order country: United States
Order currency & amount: Greater than 1,000 USD

And you have enabled the following required fields for ACH:

First Name
Last Name
Email

In the left navigation pane, navigate to Zuora Payments > Checkout.
Verify if your configured condition is working.
In the filters above the preview panel, specify the following values:
- Country: Select United States.
- Currency: Select USD.
- Amount: Enter 200.
Verify if the ACH method is displayed in the checkout preview.
Verify if the required fields configuration is working.
1. In the preview panel, click the ACH payment method.
2. Verify if the First Name, Last Name, and E-mail fields are displayed.
3. Leave some of these fields blank and verify if the correct error message is displayed.
Optional: You can also verify if the styling settings are applied. For example, you have set the typography of the payment form to the Roboto font, then verify if the fonts are changed to Roboto in preview. The payment form preview updates in real time as you make changes.
Once you have verified all the configuration, click Publish settings.
